This aircraft was delivered into UK Royal Air Force (FAR) service on June 12th, 1978. 931's last military flight was October 1st 1997. It remained in humidity controlled storage at RAF Shawburry until shipment to Colorado in preparation for refurbishment and certification.

Rotor Leasing is pleased to offer an exceptionally restored Gazelle, Serial Number 1728, for immediate sale. This helicopter was procured from the British by Rotor Leasing in 2002 and immediately underwent Major Inspections and extensive restoration. It features the stability augmentation system (SAS), upgraded engine and trailrotor and updated PFD avionics systems.

This authentic warbird is wearing original RAF colors, is N-registered in Experimental Exhibition category and is the last Gazelle imported with operating limitations allowing aerobatics and NO proficiency area restrictions. TTAF just over 8300 hours.

Maintained in accordance with the Rotor Leasing Approved Aircraft Inspection Program (AAIP) with complete records to factory delivery.

This helicopter is in experimental exhibition category, meaning you can also experiment with all the latest avionics and cool stuff.
